Achievement I hold dear
My proudest achievement was being selected to represent Great Britain at the European Championships. For a long time, it felt out of reach, and I proudly supported my friends as they were chosen, never certain it would be my turn. Through hard work, dedication, and belief in myself, I proved that anything is possible if you truly commit to it. There I achieved 3 personal bests in every class and we walked away with a team Bronze medal.

My goal this year
My goal for this year is to focus on developing several of my young horses towards Grand Prix level, taking the time to build their strength, confidence, and understanding. Most importantly, I want to enjoy the journey with them, appreciating each milestone along the way and allowing them to progress at a pace that sets them up for long-term success.
My training top tip
My top training tip is to believe in what you’re doing if you don’t believe in your horse or the process, there’s no point getting on and you might as well put him back in the stable. A varied training schedule is just as important: mix up the work, enjoy hacking in the forest to keep it fun, and focus on plenty of transitions to build strength and understanding.
My pre competition ritual
My pre-competition schedule is all about lists and routine. About a week before a show, I write everything down and keep adding to it as the build-up continues so nothing gets forgotten. The night before, I create a detailed plan for the day, written almost to the second, and I stick to it exactly. I also have a small pre-test ritual, usually a Red Bull or some chocolate. I’m not sure it actually helps, but it’s become one of those habits my mind now insists on before I go down the centre line.
4 quick ones
- My favourite ES horse product: I love the horse fleeces I use them everyday over my horses as I walk them around before riding.
- My favourite ES rider product: My ES TEAM Gillet!
- At the moment I look most forward to: My first show wearing ES obviously.
- My best life hack at show: keep everything the same. And eat chocolate before your test.- And after only if it goes well.
