Julia Bouthoorn

Julia has competed in many national and international competitions, but her biggest and most memorable achievement in dressage to date is the bronze medal in the U25 team of the 2022 European Championships with her horse Choice Finch. Funnily enough, her horse was previously a show jumper just a few years ago.

Julia grew up in the Netherlands in her family's dressage stable. There she learned how great the horses and the sport are, but also that it takes hard work to be successful.

Julia's next goal is to continue learning and train her younger horses to the highest level, starting with the Grand Prix for seniors. Julia's best tip for those who want to become a successful rider is to always be open to learning new things and enjoy the whole process.
