Hannell Dressage Stable

The story of Hannell Dressage begins in 2010 when Lynga Gård, a farm dating back to the 18th century, was transformed into a modern dressage facility. Two years later, in 2012, thirty horses had found their place at the facility, and then the journey towards the international dressage top began.

With a passion for dressage, the goal is clear: to breed and develop Grand Prix horses that can excel at the highest level. Hannell Dressage has an impressive history and continues to strive for success in dressage.

Our new Team Rider

Partnering with Hannell Dressage Stable, Marina takes on an additional role as a Team Rider for Equestrian Stockholm, and we are very excited to be on this new journey together. We sat down for a little interview to get to know more about her and her journey as a professional rider.

Where did you grow up?

I grew up on a big horse yard near Uppsala. My parents had a riding school, so I had a really nice childhood there.

When did you first come in contact with horses?

I came in contact with horses when I was very young because of all the horses on our yard. I started riding when I was 5 years old.

What are your biggest achievements in dressage so far?

Hard to choose, but I would say becoming double individual bronze medalist at the European Championship for Young Riders 2015 is one of the best achievements so far.

What is your goal going forward?

My biggest goal is to be one of the best riders in the world.

Have you any tips to someone who want to be a successful rider?

Work really hard, ride as many different horses as you can and try to find one of the best riders/ trainers to work with.

Do you have any fun fact about you and/or your horse that not many people know about?

A fun fact about Helix is that, if you give him sugar cubes, he starts to suck on them like a foal and it makes him really calm.

What is the best thing about working with Equestrian Stockholm?

The Equestrian Stockholm family is very professional and innovative when it comes to design, and the quality of the products is the best.
